India Post has released GDS online engagement Schedule July-2024. The vacancy Position, eligibility, job profilc, payment or salary, bonus and job profile of GDS is described below:
- Registration and Submission of Online Application - from 15.07.2024 to 05.08.2024
- Edit/ Correction window : 06.08.2024 to 08.08.2024
The selection will merit based selection considering the merit of 10th exam. The posts notified are as below:
1. BPM- Branch Post Master
2. ABPM- Assistant Branch Post Master
3. Dak Sewak
The payment of salary for the above posts is as under

Eligibility for all posts
Age Limit : 18 years to 40 years (for general candidtes)
for others the maximum age is relaxed as following

Education Qualification required for GDS posts
- candidate must be 10th (secondary) passed with Mathematics and English as subjects in 10th.
- candidate must has local language as subject in 10th. (state-wise local language is below mentioned)
Other qualifications:
- Knowledge of computer
- knowledge of cycling
- Adequate means of livelihood
